The Director of the InLife Institute of Animal Reproduction and Food Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences announces a recruitment for the position of:
Assistant Professor in the Bioelectroanalytics Team

Job description:
- conducting scientific research related to the application of bioreceptors, such as ssDNA, ssRNA, antibodies or aptamers, to develop new analytical platforms and systems for use in the construction of electrochemical (bio)sensors intended for food analysis and medical diagnostics,
- preparing manuscripts for scientific publications,
- applying for research projects,
- collaborating within the research team and pursuing individual professional development,
- participating in educational and public outreach activities.
Qualification requirements:
- a PhD in chemistry, biology or a related discipline,
- knowledge of electrochemical analysis methods,
- knowledge of molecular biology methods and the fundamentals of bioinformatics analysis,
- proficiency in using statistical analysis and data visualisation software,
- a proven track record of scientific output,
- documented participation in scientific conferences.
Additional requirements:
- very good command of spoken and written English,
- the ability to prepare reports and present the results of scientific work,
- completion of a research internship.
